Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Possesses an engaging, pleasant demeanor, ensuring customers feel comfortable with them in their home.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks while remaining focused on sales.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule.
  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities and overcoming objections.
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of all products, accessories and enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Preferred 2-5 years outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Well organized and self-disciplined with excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Outstanding communication skills including verbal and written.
  • Must possess at least intermediate computer skills, including Word, Excel and Email, as well as the ability to quickly learn our industry-specific sales software program.
  • Must maintain an unrestricted driving record and operate all company vehicles in a responsible manner at all times.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Granite Sales Specialist

Granite Sales Specialist


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assisting customers with design and estimating of projects.
  • Order entry and customer service follow-up.
  • Project management with builders and remodelers as needed.
  • Occasional job-site installation monitoring and follow-up.
  • Actively promote the Company's products and uphold the Company's margin philosophies.
  • Excellent communication with customers including:  Providing accurate information, skillful negotiations, timely follow-up and/or problem resolution and ability to close the sale.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Prior experience with granite or other stone and manufactured countertops is not required, but because of the unique nature of this job, it is recommended that the candidate have at least 2 years of experience in home building/remodeling sales/service when possible. 
  • Must have experience with computers and be able to learn our company's industry-specific software program (Rollmaster) quickly and completely.  All transactions are completed using Rollmaster.
  • Must have at least a basic understanding of project management, including planning, measuring, development and follow up.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Has product knowledge of natural and engineered stone and their applications.
  • History of achieving sales targets.

Warehouse Associate
Modesto Main Distribution Center

Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Maintain an excellent attendance record by following your work schedule as posted and being prepared for each shift, on time and dressed in acceptable uniform.
  • Be a great team player in the Distribution Center, ensuring that you support your peers and managers and work closely together as a team, until the workload is complete.
  • Work Safe.  Be aware of everything that is going on around you at all times.  Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.  A warehouse is always a dangerous place if you are careless.
  • Be a fast learner, demonstrating consistent improvement in speed and accuracy throughout your probationary period.
  • Have a broad understanding of all responsibilities associated with the position and demonstrate the ability to complete all tasks of a Warehouse Associate, no matter what your primary task is.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Existing forklift experience is not required.  Everyone will be retrained on each type of lift.
  • Must be a fast learner and not make the same mistake multiple times.  Most warehouse positions are all about safety, speed and routines.  To be successful all three must be mastered.
  • This is a physically demanding job.  Most of the day, you will be handling boxes of product that weigh between 30-60 lbs.  You will occasionally work when it is abnormally cold or unseasonably hot.   
  • It is imperative that you are a team player.  Virtually all tasks are completed as a team and anyone not participating in this capacity will show up fairly quickly as an outlier.

  • Flooring Liquidators offers an excellent benefits program who's cost is shared between company and employees themselves.  The company pays a majority of the employee's medical, dental and vision insurance, with the employee making up the difference in pre-tax dollars.  Direct family members are eligible for benefits, but the majority of the cost must be paid by the employee
